I got a 2023 gsxs-1000 and I’ve put about 1200 miles on it so far. I’ve seen other people getting around 40 mpg but I’m only getting 29, is anybody else having this problem?

Early on I took a long solo ride, then it was mid 50’s. Now, 11k miles later it’s around 42

My average is around 52mpg UK. Can get up to 56mpg but that's not much fun.
Only 5750 miles on bike. On the previous model I averaged around 56 and could easily get 60mpg.

my 2022 gsxs gt I get 42-46mpg US just cruising around.

29 would be normal on a racetrack I suppose...is maybe something blocking the air intake?
