Apparently Suzuki website won't let dealers register any bikes so if yours has already been registered then you maybe OK

or maybe they just dont want old hooligans like me giving the bike a bad reputation.

4 weeks without a bike is killing me

Well I have the registration number... don't know if that means it's actually registered though

Apparently mine isn't being delivered to the dealer until tomorrow.

Yep, my dealer has just told me the same. He seems to think it's something very minor otherwise there would have been an immediate recall of the bikes that were out there.

Apparently my bike is in their showroom ready to be collected :(

It'll be interesting to see what the next few days will bring.

Called into the dealers today, no further news but on a positve note, its rained all day so wouldn't have wanted to ride the bike anyway. PLUS the bike in blue in the Flesh looks bloody awesome. Its already and raring to go just need the nod from Suzuki

I saw the attached post on Suzuki Australia's Facebook page thismorning, and then read this thread on the forum.

Does anyone know if it's a worldwide recall/ suspension of sales or if it's just the UK?

I feel like I've been waiting for this bike for ages haha.

This is now stretching my patience. My bike is sitting in a showroom (and it better have a fu&@ing big KEEP OFF sign on it) ready to roll out the door and I have no idea when the hold will be released, or even what the hold is for. Meanwhile, those lucky ones who have theirs on the road are still free to enjoy them as they HAVE NOT been recalled on safety grounds.

FFS, if there's a safety issue, recall the ones that are out there, but if they're safe to ride, let us have them! If it needs a tweak or something back at the dealer then fine, I'll be happy to drop it back in, or have it seen to at it's first service.

Reckon I will be ready for first service next week and should
then find out what the 'hold' is, I have had no contact regarding
a recall yet.

Surely if it was anything safety related we would
have been told to stop riding ??.

I'm going to check all bolts tomorrow before I go out to make
sure nothings hanging just by a thread !!.
