i was at the dealership today and had a thorough look at the stock brake lines the lines travel from the brake MC to the ABS unit then i think it reroutes back to the front brakes, looks like alot of work compared to conventional method. Anyone have new lines installed yet?

I'm wondering if a racing line setup would work with the ABS and everything.
OEM setup as you say is a bit of a mess.

This was one of the reasons I was going for the non ABS version, Also less to go wrong in the future. But now I have had to go for the ABS one as been told the black & red GSX-S1000 wont be available until later in the year because its sold out, will now have mine for September the 1st. which I cant wait :)

I'm sure someone like HEL will come up with a easy fit set of brake lines soon...:)
I did have a good look today and I think a racing setup is feasible. Really want to take the bike apart but the weather is still nice. I'm actually looking forward to winter.
i guess thats the problem, you really do have to take it all apart, the hose from the brake master runs behind the fairings and you cant get to the front brake hoses without removing the head unit because the hose comes through from the bike :/ all this for some brake lines
It is a challenge but I don't mind, I've got to fit a HiD kit so it's all coming off anyway.
