I can no longer post Images since the supposed upgrade, and every image that I have posted over the last 2 years to help people have disappeared.

PM and replied to Admin posts but no response

I can not link to images using http or https and as they say a picture is worth a thousand words and I don't have time to write thousands of words this may well be my last post to this forum.

Thanks to all for the help over the last couple of years

I'll still be active on the facebook user groups but not on here

I had the same problem, and there is a hard limit to the number of pics you can keep on the forum. You can delete older stuff if that is an option. Please don't leave the forum though, as your posts have been very valuable to me and others. ;)

It's a technical issue. Looks like a limit on vbulletin using HTTPS. Your images haven't disappeared, they are just not being rendered at present. Looks like there's some fixes out there and I'm sure the admins are on it, we just have to be patient. When making technical changes there's always things that get affected you didn't plan for and it's a pain to track them all down and fix them. Also, always fun when the fixes break other things. I'm sure this'll be worked out, no reason to leave over a technical glitch.

Hey guys,

Attached images seem to be working for me. Can you send me a link to a thread that aren't showing attachments correctly? One thing to look out for, since the site has been updated to "HTTPS", if you are coming to the site from an old bookmark or email. Your browser won't update it for you so it'll still be showing "HTTP". This could be why images aren't showing, if you add the "s" it'll correct it for you.

I have posted loads of images, held on my website and my provider doesn't offer SSL at a reasonable price, I will change provider but will take a few weeks and then I have to go back to every image I have ever posted and change the links?

Other features don't work either. I can't access a members garage page or post quick replies .:|
Very strange situation, because I can access my and also others garage pages and see at full resolution all pics that are posted there.

You could post the url to the picture and not wrap it as an image.

I think, lemme try.

It's not perfect, but it works. As far as old posts, if folks click quote, they'll see the url as well; so it's not totally lost.

Also, I think your dropbox image didn't work because you linked to dropbox's native viewer, not the image

Code:
https://photos-2.dropbox.com/t/2/AAAbC-EPO-WlVNjxUdB_M1bRyP4gPqB0wwI9A_nZ2yEnUQ/12/10671594/jpeg/32x32/3/1528862400/0/2/2018-03-31%2016.06.14.jpg/EIyZ-wcYt_0FIAcoBw/D_2zEccZhBec1y4bBEUauv64QwLBmSkzOxCZl32DYtI?dl=0&size=1600x1200&size_mode=3
Which is a lot uglier (the url, I mean; bike's still ****in' sexy). On Chrome you can get that url by right clicking on the image and selecting "Copy image address"

Also, your contributions to this site are very valuable; it would be a damned shame to lose out on that insight because of a (hopefully temporary) technical issue.

Hey there,

What browser and device are you on?
I just tested this and it seems to work. We're on Chrome/WIN10

Ed

Just discovered yesterday that content was being blocked by my spyware. As long as I allow content I can view what I couldn't see before and post quick replies. :) Oh ...and I'm using Internet Explorer 11. Maybe I should change.
