Hey everyone! Been lingering for a while but this is my first post. I'm looking a little input on exhaust gaskets to use to Arrow headers. Naked 2018. Now, I thought I had done plenty of research on this and searched for a set of GixR 1000 gaskets #14181-46E00 , but I kept finding #14181-46E10 , which said it supercedes 46E00. So of course I assumed it would be the exact same size, but I'm now having my doubts. They do not fit securely whatsoever to the head as the stockers and appear to be much smaller than they should be. 3/16 inch smaller than the stock ones in overall diameter. Somebody set me straight on this please.

#14181-46E00 does supersede to 14181-46E10. 14181-46E10 fits the GSXS750 and Bergman 200 and i think a few others. The correct part number for a GSXS1000 exhaust gaket is 14181-04K00.

The general consensus is that the stock gaskets are a little too thin to use with the Arrows and gsxr1000 gaskets work better. But it looks like I screwed up ordering them. My buddy just did his exhaust on his 2014 gsxR1000 so I grabbed one of his old gaskets and it fits perfectly. That would be part# 14181-22D01. Hoping some guys rocking the Arrow headers can chime in here.

The online parts site that I have a link to indicates both the GSXS1000 and the 2018 GSXR1000AL8 both use 14181-4K00 gasket's, $5.74 ea there.

Perhaps you know the year of the GSXR you are referring to?
You or anyone here can use this link (not obvious, but I am sure you'll work it out -eventually) to look at various years of most Suzuki models and see how far back it goes to see what part numbers may differ.

You are right OP, the Arrow's need a much thicker exhaust gasket. I found them somewhere on the internet, don't have the part number off hand, but keep researching Arrow headers for our bike. I'll dig deeper into my records when I have time later and post back

OK, I found them on Ebay

Suzuki Exhaust Gasket OEM 14181-46E00 GSXR1100 GSXR1000 GSXR600 GSXR750
( 182813874653 )

So you had the right ones, don't know about the 46E10 - I know the above worked perfect on my Arrow headers

Thanks guys. This is the part diagram for 2005 GsxR1000. I'm not sure if 46E10 differs from 46E00 but I know it's way too small for my bike. In 2007 they made some changes, enlarged the exhaust ports perhaps, and started using 14181-22D01. They are the exact same diameter as our stock gaskets, only thicker. So I'll be looking for some 2007-2016 gixr1000 gaskets. I hope I can find them locally and don't have to order them. ECU will be back from Dano tomorrow and I really wanna fire this thing!

Wierd. It opens on my end. I got 07-16 1000 gaskets from the local dealer. Matched the eBay price. They fit perfectly. Only problem now is those incompetent Italians sent me a 200mm bolt for hanging the midpipe instead of a 150mm!!!!!! Must have been drunk on pasta!! Ugh

Suzil 8,
Opened the second time for me.
Thanks for finally mentioning that you were referring to a 2005 GSX-R. I didn't think of the old forebear K5 period.

Arrow should know to include a set of correctly sized gaskets to fit a GSX-S1000 in the kit. That is called Customer Service in my book.

Yeah they really should include them. Anyway, to whoever it may concern, do not use 14181-46E10 way too small. And they did give me the right bolt, the one I was trying to fit was the stock bolt LOL I've had several beers. I wouldn't say the Arrows fit perfectly, definitely took some persuation but I guess that means they are tight.

I almost went with that slip-on but I wanted to try something different and ordered from SP Engineering in the UK. Carbon can with a slash cut tip. Under $300usd shipped. Looks sexy and slips onto the Arrow perfectly.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of it installed? I've been toying with the thought of going with them too.

I'll get some pics after I get it all finished up. I just slipped the muffler on real quick last night to see how it looks

Is this the one you think is sexy?
And I must ask, as your Forum name is Suzi ... are you a female? 'cause there's nothing sexier than a girl with Arrow headers!
And perhaps SUZIL8 is a loving Boy who gave his Girl a Valentines Day Gift of Arrow Headers and Exhaust Can with the big Box of Chocolates for HER bike ? :x:x:x
Get the idea, Arrow through the heart and Arrow Headers ??? ;)
