Anyone else have any difficulty shifting? Downshifts as smooth as butter, up shifting is harder, sometimes doesn’t want to go into 6th, does better after riding for a while.
Would appreciate any suggestions here. Have tried adjusting shifter,

When was your last oil change?
How about chain tension I find the tighter side of spec works best.

Just changed oil, chain is actully a little on the tighter side. Have put 1300kms on bike and noticed after bought it that shifting up is a bit of issue, has jumped out of 6 back to 5th if I don’t really make forceful shifts.

Is this a brand new bike, what is the milage etc?

No it has 12000 miles on it. Just changed oil, have tried adjusting lever, if I am around 4-5 rpm shifting is easier but anything outside of that is way more laboured. Am wondering if a Quickshifter would solve this

Have you removed the lever from the shaft, clean and apply some grease, did a world of god on my B king, changing was so much smoother.

I wanted one, but hard to find here, very hard. So I opted for a ZX14 . Beautiful bike, prob my fav so far. Kind of regret getting rid of, riding position wasn’t the best as I get older, but was a solid well built bike, never an issue. Hoping this gets sorted
