We have 16° C in Belgium. It's not unusual to ride in november / december but not in summer outfit :)

Done :
Carbon tankpad
Carbon fuelcap
Rizoma mirrors
Black levers
Suzuki OEM screen
Suzuki OEM passenger seat cover
Remus slip on exhaust
Wheel decal back
L&S tail taidy
Oxford Neptune turnsignals back with LED relais
Optimate 4 charching cable in the backseat

The bike has to go for the 6000km service. At the same time :
Wheel decal front
Back light with integrated turn signal
Move Oxford Neptune turnsignals to front
Steel or carbon break lines and other breakpads

Yes you are probably right, but I like my oil changed every 6000. Perhaps I'm stupid , but certainly hardheaded :)

Dekker, that is a good point but when I got my 1000 km service they wrote in the book next service 6000 km ???

What to do? They have to make the money from you in the warranty years as many people service it privately when that runs out.

I have a friend in my village who is a fully qualified motorcycle mechanic. He used to service my GSXR so he will be back on the go when the warranty runs out on the GSXS.

After having a robust 'discussion' with my dealer about service intervals I contacted Suzuki and asked for clarification. Got a phone call and an apology from my dealer and confirmation that the 12000km interval is correct.
I'll probably still do my oil every 6000 tho.
