Have had them on my SV1000, CBR1000rr, Tuono v4. I have not had any issues with them, great for commuting with harder compound middle band and soft on the shoulders for fun times, have used them for track days too, so will be fitting them to the S1000 when the time comes.
hi i am in perth as well, i got 3100k's from OEM rear tyre. 2000k's of that at Barbagallo race way. They only sell Dunlops at the ride day providers i use, so fitted a roadsmart, that tyre has only been used at the track , 1500k's later still good, won't get 2000k out of it though, simply because there are 6 RHS corners and only 1 left, the RHS goes bald with tons of tread still in centre and left side. I like them, great grip for a street tyre , and would be fine for everyday use , you would get a **** of a lot more k's from them in normal use. If you don't ride hard there are tons of good tyres around that will give ok grip and loads of k's. But it's bloody hot here most of the time so the tyres that suit rainy cold countries may not be great here. One friend uses some chinese rubbish on his triumph , why cos they're cheap , sure are but i rode his bike one day and they are CRAP, good tyres are all very similar price, just try them and see what suits you.I am a Dunlop fan. Gee those 4 * up above are censoring out the word that starts with H and is the opposite of heaven. wonder what will happen if i try a **** yeah
Dunlop Sportmax D214 tires - are they really as bad as I hear? I commute in Chicago and don't want to be sliding around in wet or cold weather. Anybody have experience with these? They came stock on the bike and I'm considering swapping them out since they're still brand new and are (hopefully)...
Got bored so I painted the wheels gold using rubber paint, still at the curing stage at the moment but I'll post up pics tomorrow. If it looks good then I'll be getting them powder coated if not then I'll be doing a lot of peeling.
I've have these for about 1500 miles so far. They're fantastic. I've only ever ridden on the PR3s and PR5s, but man, these PR5s are great. Ready for the twisties from **** near cold.
Not even a faint flat spot yet. I've dragged my pegs a few times just on the street with these things when...
Hi everyone, just wondering if someone has any preference on tyre replacement for my 1000 f, I ran Meltzer road Tec 1s on my MT 09 and found them to be very good tyres. I want to change the standard Dunlop's I have now, I find them a bit soft, waiting for replies, thanks.
