had mine a while now it fits really snug but found the paint rubbing where its in contact with me so put a tank pad there to stop that

It's a snug fit. Color match is really close. I'll add some clear 3m tape where it contacts. Thanks for the heads up.

Installation was super easy. You have to attach the mounting bracket to the cowl. Also, the ermax description leads you to believe it's a cover. It's not. It's a total rear seat replacement.

So you can still take it off all the time like with the rear seat to access the underseat storage area, is that correct?

ive had one on for around five months and unfortunately the bit at the back that hooks on the bar cracked. I have just mixed up some epoxy and it hard as anything now but i have a disc lock and puncture repair kit in there so its a little overloaded. Ive also had to put an R&G sticker on the end of the tail to stop the paint rubbing of which it had started to do. Same as Rowlf.

So once you put this on, you can't easily swap it for the stock seat?
