https://gsx-s.info/gsx-s-manuals/ and look for the link to the PDF titled "GSX-S1000 2016_Technical_Information". The file name is "GSX-S1000A_FA_L6_Technical_Information.pdf". The fairing content starts around page 66 or so.
There is a useful YouTube video, it's not in English, but it shows how to do it and a top tip so as not to scratch the fairing on removal (something the dealership has done to mine on it's first service!).
Just take of meter panels each side and then you can get at the Allen head bolts each side of tank ,then remove the tank cowling , casing around the ignition and bolts of tank and lift up , Job done .no need to remove said fairing just loosen the top bolts so you can pull it out .

I need to replace my rear tire on my 2016 GSXS and would like to put on something that won't spin so easy every time I try and pull the front wheel up. Any recommendations. I don't ride this bike long distances so I can afford to get only a couple of thousand or less.
