Hello, I am 6 foot 1 I currently ride a 2013 Ducati Diavel and I am thinking of switching to a 1000. How is the wind at highway speeds, would the bikini fairing offer much more protection and how well would I fit on one of these at my height? I do not have an opportunity to ride one until late August when they are released in Canada. Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi roddie i've just done 250 miles today at 80 to 100 mph (private road ;-)) and not had a problem it does get hard after that!!!!

I wonder if the windscreen that's on the 1000F would fit on the naked 1000???

As Killjoy says wind isn't an issue for me till it goes over 80.
At 120 it gets a bit difficult to sit up but I'm not using this bike
to set speed records, 70-80 on Motorways is quite enjoyable.

Stromer, it would fit if you had the rest of the fairing to go with it...
I have seen a few aftermarket tall screens which don't look too shabby.
