Out early this morning taking bike for 1st service.

Went out today for a good hour first time since its first service. Everything was fine really enjoying it now and the knees feeling a lot better wore some leather trousers today and it was fine. Never seen so many bikes out must have seen 100 going the other way saying that its actually boiling here for a change

Gone on holiday to Cumbria, Kelly took the kids in the car and I went on the bike with panniers !! First time with them on so when the M6 ground to a halt I was a bit apprehensive filtering which I’d normally do but they do stick out further than the bars. Exhaust was fine with them also.

Anyway got here safe and sound 😂

I remember reading somewhere that the panniers are the same width as the mirrors but never confirmed that.

Well that was fun 2.5 hours in pouring rain on the way home 150 miles without stopping, bike was faultless and cruise control handy on the motorway M6, like mentioned before that cruise control on button needs to be on the left really. Nearly done 1000 miles now

Did about 120 miles today and finished up at Ribblehead 1000 Mile done now 👍 just too hot though 🥵

Luckily I have a private plate with less characters so can get away with a smaller one, whilst still have all the legal requirements on it.

I usually go a size smaller and fit a tail tidy but just haven't bothered this time. I could just get a really small plate with S11URM just along but knowing my luck I'll get pulled then they will start looking at the exhaust etc

I trimmed the edges of the plate on my previous bike in the process removing the strip along the bottom with the dealers ID on and the symbols that says it is issude by an official source. Now that bit is an offence under the law.

Well I've got rid of the company car and convinced the Mrs I need a bike to commute on

So getting this next week and some waterproofs !!! Should be fun its only 10 mile a day how wet can you get ??

I have never seen that many Suzuki's locally at one time at my local dealership. They barely have one GSXR and one RMZ dirt bike on the floor.

They have a little seperate showroom just for Suzuki but the branch is mainly Triumph.

Been to work all week on the SV but today I thought I'd take the GT, OMG !! how fast is this thing haha certainly brought a smile to my face after using the v twin all week.
