May not so much a bad dealer as opposed to bad mechanics, or lack of interest.Bad dealer, they should be checking polarity on the sensor. Not replacing it.
The colour looks even better in real life.**** I love that color. Shame we can’t get it in the US of A.
Looks blue to meLooks purple in the photo...
I know there are very few including the first service here in Australia. I remember when car dealerships used to do that but profit margins have shrunk and no manufacturer rebates to the dealerships stopped all that. Sometimes if you push hard when doing the deal you may be able to get the first service free. Honestly, it is just a basic check and here the average cost is around $380.00 to $420.00 AUD180 quid...$222 dollars. Some dealers include first service with purchase, not yours I guess.
Why do they call it a "quid"? Isn't it the same as a "pound"? Confusing.
Hope your sciatica heals...it's no fun, I know. I had it so bad a few years ago I couldn't walk more than 100 feet at a time (regularly walk 5-7 miles now, no problem). The nerve damage was so severe that I lost the right anterior tibialis muscle (the one just adjacent to the shin bone) to permanent atrophy. It's the muscle that allows you to walk on your heel...without it you have "drop foot". Hope you don't have anything like that. As stated, I can walk with it, so it isn't disabling.
Let us know how it goes, Shurm...best of luck.

Look after your health as much as you can and I am hoping you get the help you need asap to be able to enjoy your riding and the bike. Like a lot of us as we get old, we start to have issues. My both shoulders have been done, one was 2 times, then had about 8 umbilical hernias meshed a stiffed back now the right knees is slowly getting worst but time will tell. As long as I wake up warm and above the ground each day it is a bonus for me.My first service cost £142 for the naked.
Regarding aches and pains I saw a specialist last week and am down for a LH hip replacement, already had the knee done on that side. Haven't been able to throw my leg over for a long time, I have to stand on the footrest to get on. The thing is it's a two year waiting list for the operation..![]()
