Hi all, thanks for letting me join your community!

I think I got the last 2019 GSXS1000F in the Country. It was a demo with 180km (110 miles) on the clock, got an absolute bargain with fender eliminator thrown in.

How I got here:

I test rode a lot of really good bikes in one day including Yamaha 1000's, 900's etc, Honda CB1000 and CBR1000 and others, Kawasaki 900, 1000 etc etc. at the end of last year at our yearly motor show (in Wollongong). I really enjoyed them all...
BUT!!
Once I got on the GSXS1000F something happened. Let me back up a bit first...

I remember walking up to it and being wowed by its looks, I'd seen pictures but boy was it stunning in the flesh - resplendent in Suzuki blue. Its "eyes" seemed to look sideways at me, checking me out as I walked, in tunnel vision, towards it. "Beast" is the only word that came to mind. Then sitting on it and switching her on and hearing that low growl made my hairs stand on end. Then pulling away... "Wow" I thought, then giving it some "OMG!", then racing a Hayabusa off the lights "Holy [email protected]!" then turns "F*RK!"- some inner beast awoke in me, and I loved every minute of that test ride. it was almost like my soul bonded with the machine and I had barely ridden it, it was surreal. "How could it be so bloody good?!" I asked myself.
Getting off it I couldn't stop talking about it with the Suzuki team on the day and for the next few months I couldn't stop thinking about it either, The Suzuki GSXS1000F was a clear winner for me.

So I was looking daily in bikesales (Australian bike classifieds) because I wanted to buy a new or demo 2019 model in that same blue, but all were sold out. To cut a long story short, it turned out that the very bike I test rode appeared in a dealership in Sydney and I immediately put a deposit on it - it was meant to be!

I upgraded from a Yamaha R3 so the power, mechanical grip and build quality improvement is immense. Mine doesn't have a snatchy throttle, it's smooth but eager. Looking forward to modding it and eventually taking it on the track.

Anyways, happy to be on board!

A BIG Welcome to this Forum, Elgato.
I doubt that Suzuki brought too many 19' F's in Australia as the Naked is the far more popular model I think based on previous years.
Chasing a favourite colour can be hard if you are near the end of the year cycle. I was strongly considering a F in white, but there was 1 in Canberra and 1 in Toowoomba (and done with ugly to my eye, Dealer applied graphics).
A great 2019 750 in Blue was the end result.

What a great story! Enjoy your new ride. I love my white 2018F; it's everything I wanted and more. An FYI to you. You CAN change the oil filter without removing the fairings. Best of luck and let us know how it goes.

Oh and pics!

Another Aussie with one, great, and no snatchy throttle, even better, so maybe all you'll need to modify is the rear shock absorber for Aussie roads; it is what you perceive it to be, a brilliant bike; happy days
