Saying hello from New Brunswick. Just brought home my very first suzuki . Been mostly a tuning fork guy all my life . Road a 21 mt09 sp about 460'sh kms (appx 285 miles) to a dealer and road back this beauty! Great bike from the 3 hrs i spent on it. The only lackluster or negative is the brake lever feel. It will take time to get use to it.

Thanks. Yes i will try pads at some point i have used in the past Carbon Lorraine vesrah and Galfer on other bikes and they do improve braking . I'll also give the stockers time to bed in and then go from there. I'm not familiar with Suzuki, so maybe that intial feel of pulling the lever is common to them. But I was quite surprised at how they where. Almost like i was using a front brake from an old 80's-90 sport bike .
Was there a night 'n day difference when you did the pads?

I'm in Fredericton. Not too far. There's always group rides to St martins, Saint Andrews, or Sussex/ Alma.
You know anyone from Saint John rhat usually goes on those runs?
There's always a group from SJ , Moncton and Sussex that meet up during the season
