Interesting! It appears to be basically a gsx-s750 spec. bike (taking into account its a new model) with budget suspension etc. and a 97hp 1000 cc engine with decent torque. It’s in between the 750 and 1000 when it comes to torque. I think if it’s priced properly it would sell well. When I bought my gsx-s I was interested in the 750, but I like engines with torque and the 750 didn’t have enough. I could live with this one, especially if the price was good.

I don't understand what the point of this bike is when suzuki already has the gsx-s750 which makes 99 hp.

And if it has the same engine as our bike, how was the reduction in power achieved? Software? Could you easily increase the hp to the same power the gsxs1000 makes with an ecu flash?

I guess the S750 will be dropped soon, it makes too much power for the A2 licence. The S950 makes more torque at less revs. Maybe economy of scale comes in to play as well, only one engine to produce instead of two.
