you could pick up a mean Gixxer 750 second hand for that coin with plenty left over for personalization ;)
I don't get why they are charging more for the white and blue version. I mean its only $150, but why? I just don't understand why the color means it should cost more.

Would you pay extra for just a different color?
They can, people want it and will pay for it. Plus when compared to the price of the bike, it's not that bad, an impulse buy to me.
exactly, people will pay for it, blue and white is often the only desireable livery suzuki offers. Truthfully they have been doing it for years with GSXR, at $100 its not much of a deterrent and an easy way to make a $100. Multiply that by every bike sold and its a fiar chunk of cash...
how many of you guy s are going to pay the extra for the blue and white version?

it's not like people who want blue or white will not get it because they have to pay another $150 for it.
Paying for something like a stupid dealer mark up will be a real PITA
I hate dealer mark ups. THe reasons for the charges are always such bs. Document processing fee? Preparation fee? These are just ways to make the dealership more money. They annoy me a lot too, way more than being charged extra for blue.

actually those are ways of paying the salesperson for their hourly time. Too often when shopping we expect the salesperson to take a hit for our sake. Often times these people have families to feed....
That's why i rather wait sometimes if i can when dealerships aren't as aggressive with mark up's.

I just think that it is the dealership that should be paying the salespeople for their time instead of the customer. They already make a commission from the sale.
That's the way it should be, or even something the dealer can write off to the HQ/
