Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

my name is Tony, I was born in Hungary in the EU, I wave been living for many years in Germany. I owned several motorbikes in the last 24 years, I'm riding since my 18. birthday. The last one was an MV Agusta F4 1000S, but it was time to get a new one with ABS, traction control and with less demand for daily repair…
I bought a 2016’ model as a brand new one, because I wanted to have to EURO3 emission version.
I’m very happy with my new bike, I joint to this community to learn a lot of about my bike, and to get the necessary information about service bulletins, etc.
Thanks to all of you for your support in advance!
Regards
Tony

Yes, it was my intention, to make to optimization for touring! I spent a lot of time with my previous Africa Twin on the road, but it had not enough power. Now I’m happy!

Hey buddy, nice to see our bike has a decent world wide following. I bought my grey 2016 about a month ago brand new as well. i was pretty surprised it was still on the floor. Bike is amazing, fast, smooth(except the throttle) and comfortable. Did you get a pretty good deal since the bike is almost 2 yrs old by now? I got a decent deal it was 8400$ otd, 1400 of which was bullcrap fees like temp tag fee of 100$ when i got a regular metal plate the day i bought it from the dealer. Or the 100$ dock fee, salesman claimed at 6990 the bike was so far below sticker there was NO wiggle room on their nut. I would have walked right back out the door IF i didnt want this bike THAT badly. I had already gone and just looked at the bike and sat on it a couple times lol.

Tony,
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new bike. Nice to hear from someone so far away. My wife has a Hungarian friend that is a chef and cooks some very nice Goulash!! Look forward to some mature input from you.
Hope it's not too cold for you now. Here it's beautiful weather and warm to hot every day - perfect for riding. Enjoy your new bike!
Take care friend - from Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺
