Waiting for them to show up here in the US. Might be getting close to putting my current bike ('92 Nighthawk 750) up for sale.

Welcome! Not sure I could have the patience of you state side guys :)
Welcome! Martin, it was easier before all the Euro bikes started getting delivered. Now that you guys have them, the waiting has gotten harder.
I'm dying here in Texas, lol.
My dealer in Southern AZ was able to enter orders into the Suzuki system the last week of June. The delivery promise for an "F" was "maybe September". Year was not specified.

I love the bikes; not at all impressed with Brea.
I still think Suzuki have massively dropped the ball on the GSX-S launch.
This is a bike that was announced with a finished production model in late 2014 and now we are in Q3 of 2015 and a lot of territories still don't have it. For a company that had massive financial problems a couple of years ago they don't do themselves any favours.

Oh and Hi Jeckler.
Thanks for the welcome. I was out riding early yesterday and stopped by the local dealer right as they opened. I made the mistake of asking them if they'd heard anything, and in typical dealer fashion, they had no clue. One guy said, and this is a direct quote: "Well, it's a 2016 model so, December?". The other guy thought he meant of 2016. When I got home and relayed this to my wife, a total non gear-head, even she knew that new models typically arrive around August of the current year.
They had two S750's on the floor, but I'm a go big or go home type of guy. Plus I really like the red/black combo. I still need to come up with a decent down-payment anyway. Does anyone know what the minimum amount Suzuki will finance is, in the US?
It'd also be nice to demo one first. None of the dealers here really do that, except one, and that's only after you've "bought" the bike.

I'm amazed you guys in the US don't get to try a demo bike first. Over here is perfectly normal to take a demo bike (or bikes) out before committing to anything.

You only need to be aware that the insurance excess for a loan bike is normally sky high if anything should happen
from FZ09 to GSXS USA Surprise AZ

Walked in stealership saw blue GSXS1K and immediately traded FZ09.
Absolutely no regrets..Bike has only 100 miles on it so far. Glad I discovered this forum. I live in Arizona so will be doin lots of canyon riding this weekend.
Just to update this thread, I couldn't wait for Suzuki to get them over and found screaming deal on a leftover *cough*2014Ninja1000*cough* a few weeks ago. Did my 600 mile service yesterday and have been having an absolute blast on it, much to my buddy on his SFV650's chagrin. He used to walk away from me on the Nighthawk, now I completely obliterate him.
Hey Rickey, what part of AZ are you in? Me and 2 other people are heading up to either Payson or Globe tomorrow morning from Mesa for a quick, easy ride to breakfast (as food is always a great motivator). Send me a PM if you're interested. I'd really like to see what the S is like when it's moving.
Oooooohhhhhh...a kawasaki lover :)

I have a FZ-09 and I've been thinking about making the swap. I've heard nothing but good reviews about the bike.

Well, gotta scratch the itch somehow.
Sorry to hear you couldn't wait for the GSX-S1000. It's a shame as it's a far superior bike, and you'll regret not waiting once you ride one! :(
