I thought I should join in on the mod threads :)

I had 3m paint protection film applied before she left the showroom.
First thing I did when I got her home was remove the pillion pegs and the hero blobs from the footpegs.
I have since done:
Radiator guard
Suzuki rear seat cowl
Black aluminium levers
Bar end mirror(s) - cheap copy of CRG Arrow mirrors
Suzuki oem screen
HM superlite quickshifter
Rizoma Graffio indicators on the front.
Plugged footpeg and mirror holes.

Still to do
Tail Tidy - i have matching Rizoma indicators to go on this
Exhaust - not in any rush for this one
power commander or ecu flash

The indicators are the brightest led ones I've had by a long long way. Its just a sinlge 2w led bulb but it doesn't wash out in daylight like all the others I have had.
I am using the resistors that came with them to get the flash rate right, I have a new relay on the way which I will put in when I do the tail tidy.
Awesome indicators but very pricey - $75AU EACH!!

Jeebus. But good to know. I had some indicators that I thought were fine until I had some mates follow me on a ride... first stop they ask if I ever bothered to indicate lol. Not a good look.

did you get any additional vibrations in the foot pegs by removing the "weights" / "hero thingys" I was planning on making something with similar weight just less obtrusive as i was worried that just removing them would also remove the vibration dampening effect they are designed to have

No, no extra vibrations.
There's not much weight to them, as far as I'm aware they are there as a lean indicator not to remove vibrations.
I've removed them from all my bikes, I've never noticed any difference in vibrations.

Powerbronze tail tidy and Rizoma indicators fitted.

That's it for the cosmetic mods for a while.
Next up will be a Power Commander I think.

Perhaps your next mod should be a smaller number plate =P Coming along nicely.

mattnz: how do you find the quickshifter does it give you a nasty kick in all gears or just first?
It's pretty random to be honest, the biggest kick is definitely first to second but often its quite smooth. Same with the other gears, occasionally smooth as silk ,usually quite smooth, occasionally a bit notchy.
I've tried to see if its rev related but it doesn't seem to be.

Perhaps your next mod should be a sjmaller number plate =P Coming along nicely.
I wish. Thats the size they are, no choice.
