I’ll go first, I hate it! Yea it connected to my phone well and my cardo pack talk bold headset BUT if I don’t want to use the Myspin app my cardo has to be re paired to my phone every time. It won’t connect to my cardo using the cardo selection in Myspin with out me putting my cardo in pairing mode. Totally aggravated with this whole setup which reminds me of my hate for car play which I turned off finally in my GMC truck. I didn’t want the Myspin for navigation just calls and music apps which apparently it won’t do that either. Seems it wants you to have the music all on your phone. Negative I don’t like that. The system appears to be simple but the more you read the online manual and owners manual you realize you need a computer science degree to hook this junk up correctly.

So I’m off that stuff and back to using my cardo Bluetooth connected to my iPhone and using my garmin 396LM gps. I won’t see who’s calling or calling out which is kinda tough not on the visual fly but it’s worked now for over a year now. The cardo not re pairing to my phone is the biggest issue once that Myspin app pairs it to itself. My music apps won’t work through Myspin either as advertised.

oh well I’m done with Myspin!

I paid 12-15 a gallon in 2011-2012 can't remember exact amount, ridiculous amount though. (Unalaska dutch harbor) but thats because its a **** island, and everything is brought out by a boat. and the entire island is run on Diesel engines running 24/7 (my gf' at the times dad was one of the 4 people running the power plant)

anyway, its a pretty place, literally 1 gallon last a week there. as everything a 5 minute walk unless you drive around the frontier part of the island where its just for fun.

I really like the idea of the myspin. Not for calls, calendar or intercom but for navigation. Unfortunately my preferred touring app is Calimoto which is not supported by myspin. I tried for a few weeks now but I dont find a possibility to transfer the trips I planned with calimoto 1:1 to one of the supported apps like rever or sygic. So for the moment I only use rever/sygic if have to get from a-b real quick.

I know about those several friends use them I am just not into having my phone in front of me on the bars. I thought this Myspin would solve that for me and where ever my phone as kept I'd still see info on the dash but nope this is a headache in of itself with the cardo and my phone back to Myspin. Nothing to do with Cardo it is one of the main apps already on the Myspin main menu. Not sure what is up, operator error, **** I don't know but I followed their instructions twice maybe 5 times already same results. Have to re pair my cardo to my phone once Myspin is turned off with bike.

Well I can somewhat say I have some of it figured out and it is not to my liking. Got the Cardo connect app and rever app to work. The cardo app is quirky the way it wants the phone connected to the headset but the myspin kinda over steps that part. Rever looks cool and works great except no way to actually exit out of it except stop the myspin app on your phone to lose frame transmission. That is stupid. Those are the only two apps it is picking up off my phone and no music apps will work with myspin connected to the phone that I have. Once I get cardo connect connected in myspin I can see my riding group I am currently in but no way to change that i see to other groups I have on my phone. I have spent way to much time on this. I am going back to just riding a motorcycle instead of fiddling with its built in gadgets that don't work correctly or talk to each other like the glossy ads suggested.

The biggest issue with Carplay is not the app itself but what Apple want for the licencing fee to allow manufacturers to use it. There are car manufacturers here that have a better system on one of the models but not so much in another model of the same brand because of the cost of that very licence. This would be why Suzuki is using their own app aka ( My spin ) I have not got my bike and won't have it until the first quarter of 2023 as most will know. I hope there may be some updates that improve the experience of connecting a coms unit. If not I will be happy just using the old fashion Mobile to Cardo system that works as I like it to and never had an issue using it that way.

Took me a while to figure it all out, I've now got a bike playlist in Apple Music which I just select to play as the other menus with letter bandings is just hard work. So music is fine now, some of the Sat Nav (Revo ?) wouldn't let me out of the Nav but Sygic is fine and I've upgraded the App now so it speaks and has cameras showing.

Got the hang of it if you do go back to far in the menus back to the bikes main screen you press back again to go back to the MYSpin App not the top button as you do originally to get into MySpin. I use a Sena 5 on my helmet.

Ok the system linked up and worked accordingly later yesterday afternoon. My wifi at the house interferes with it on start up but easily solved on the fly and do not expect that out in the open. The REVER and Cardo connect app work as they should and my headset waits to be connected once I tap on cardo connect in the myspin page. It shows my grouping and I see no way to change that group in the myspin cardo connect. I can only mute volume and turn back on in that app on myspin. I assume you must go to the phones cardo connect app to change the grouping which will momentarily knock you out of myspin. Myspin must run open on your phone constantly for this all to work and you cannot simply go to the home page on your phone and pull up another app if so the system loses its communication with the phone and you get the lost frame transmission error on bikes dash until you pull myspin app back to the front on your phone. Quirky system if you ask me and do not forget to turn auto lock off on your iphone that will cause it to lose the connection as well. I plan to head out with it all on tomorrow morning on my trip with 2 other guys who all have the cardo and are in my group I have selected on the cardo connect. If it gives me issues along the 450 mile trip I'll can the myspin and turn it off and go straight cardo to phone cause that works great and I can stream music on my music apps off my phone cannot do that in myspin because it doesn't support the music apps I use and I have not found any music apps that work in myspin. I suspect the first time I lose cell service on my phone the cardo is not gonna work either so that will buzz kill this whole thing for me unless the cardo's dynamic mesh keeps me communicating with the other guys outside of the myspin hookup I'm ok with that. I am making a whole hearted effort to like this but it honestly is more trouble than it is worth.

Yesterday I was able to connect to mySPIN and pull up navigation, though I didn't ride with it (it's been wet out and besides I had some after-stressful-work Irish Cream with Kahlua, heh).
The mySPIN manual that you get to from the phone app shows that you can connect to "third-party applications", but neither the app nor the bike mySPIN menus show that option. Does anyone have more info on that? I'd like to be able to try Google Maps or maybe Waze... they redirect based on traffic and also show where police are hiding.

Don't think it will run any 3rd Party Apps just the ones it shows like Rever, Genuis, Sygic etc.??

No to Apple Maps...
Does that depend on whether you have IOS or Android? If I am in the mySPIN app in phone mode (not connected to the bike) and I tap on the Maps icon, it opens up the Google Maps app on my phone. That had me thinking maybe it uses Google Maps as a default, but it seems very different on the bike (though as mentioned, I haven't ridden with it yet).

Ok I have everything working in Myspin. I have cardo working and now music. Bosch lost a few apps that run through Myspin from your phone. Cardo is one and DASH radio is another. Both work fine on my setup. They list accuweather as another app but it’s not feee past 7 day trial. Would be nice to have a weather app up on a trip. I might pay them a little while and see how it works. The DASH radio app works pretty good the limited time I e used it so far. Cool to see it all on the dash and toggle through what you want to here. I have not messed around with the REVER navigation app much but I think to really navigate on it similar to my Harmon I’ll have to pay them. I still have my garmin mounted to the bike. The base map in the bike works good to see a larger map picture. It’s just not a navigation app but will take you to somewhere if you type it in. All of this is phone based so you cannot jump around on your phone to do other stuff you must stay in the Myspin and that app must be open always no auto lock or you’ll get the “lost frame transmission” on the dash of the bike. It’ll reconnect instantly once you reopen the Myspin app. Hope this all helps a few here trying to figure this out with weak instructions. Bosch has a website that I found more helpful to what I wanted than Suzukis manual.

I am using the OnePlus N10 5G, however, I am losing connection and in order to reconnect I need to stop :(
The dash idea is great, however, the realization is poor.
Why I cannot connect with the USB?
Why it is unstable (at least on my phone)
Why we should be limited to some apps? The original mySpin app has more apps available.
I paired with my sena, and sometimes, the music stops working.
My phone becomes very hot

Is it my phone?
