Hi All, I've posted here before with the intro of just passing by from the Honda Forum. Well the time came for my 5 yr second bike to go back to the Dealers for recycling last Friday and the result was Red & Black 1000 Naked GSXS. It now has 100 Km on the clock and smells of burnt engine paint. It will be an addition to my VFR1200F. I think they will be far enough apart to give a different style of riding pleasure to me.
I am really pleased that this May 16 build has the new ECU, as it is reasonably smooth compared to the first generation Dealer Demo that I spent 3 days on loan trying to reset (with no owners manual to help) the suspension that everyone had fiddled with to make it into a race bike.

My bike, contrary to what other have said here, required slackening off the throttle cable to reduce the on/off/on action jerking.
Every bike should be the same of the line, but who knows if the helpful pre delivery person went too far in that direction? Good now, that what matters.
The only issue I have is the mirrors. The dished washers where the pivot ball is located, is as stiff as. I feels if it was any tighter, the mirror would snap off the stalk while adjusting.
And the stalk locknut down at the handlebar end is so tight that I can't loosen them as thought Suzi used locktite. I got enough adjustment from leaning in the stalks, but that's not the point.

On my way back home from the Dealer in the wagon to get the bike sale organised last Friday, along Mt Mee near Dayboro at 2:30 PM, I got passed by a R & BL GSXS1KN.
He was "motoring", but paid for that with an rear escort of flashing blue /red lamps. If Qld Rego GSX** is a member here, I saw it all.
