well took her for a long spin today, still have her on tc 2 so the yellow light did flicker a bit lol and a couple of times on crests the front came up, love the handling and power, the throttle does snatch now and again but i am getting used to it, cant fault the bike at the mo and when i get this first 600 miles out of the way then i can really give it the beans, when it is run in i can compare it to my old zzr better, think im getting old though wore leathers today and nearly froze lol

I'm running in mine at the moment and left the TC on 3. Following religiously the manual and did not rev it past 5700 rpm for the first 800 km's. I am just past 900 km's now and started to go up 8500 rpm in each gear (did not get the chance in the 6'th though). I could not lift the front even a bit and I am itching to try it - you reckon it's because of the TC settings on 3 or just because I am still riding it like a ***** until the first service?

I'm now running M7 RR tyres and I barely see the TC light come on even on level 3. I couldn't do power wheelies on 3 with the dunlops but I can with the new tyres. Best mod ever.

Are you riding a naked or Fairing model, the fairing will not lift as easy having the extra 7 or so kilos out the front plus the 20kg thereabouts downforce when you wind it up, I'm not saying it won't lift but you have to make it

I have the S1000A which is the complete naked one and got it with the Dunlops. The dealer I bought it from is a fantastically passionate Suzuki guy and I respect his experience: he said "don't force it 'til the first service" & "only go smooth with the acceleration back and forth, about half way through" and so on however; for the amount of power it has i was expecting to lift it even like that but honestly I did not try hard enough. It's my first bike of this caliber in terms of power and I am amazed every day by how it rides. Used to own few 50 & 152 cc's and a 250 MZ ETZ from the GDR in the past; the most powerful i rode longer was a Yamaha FZ 6. When I look at your history I am like whooooshed - but that's it I will build up my skills: this is my first decent bike and I am opening every day the garage door to peek at it even if I don't ride it!!!

I am sooooo loving it!
