Quick shifter OFF? Why?

My 2020 doesn't have a factory quickshifter, but I did install a Healtech QS temporarily. After spending a substantial amount of time getting everything dialed in, it worked flawlessly during faster shifts at higher RPM, but it was clunky and terrible with normal shift speeds at lower RPM. I removed it very soon after installing it. I don't have any problem using the clutch when needed. Also, it's quite easy to perform clutchless up and down shifts on sportbikes without a quickshifter.

I feel ya, I had a brand new 2020 Katana 1000, and at 76 miles the clutch went out. the disk turned to puddy(MUD),, Suzuki said "screw you pal, we don't cover Clutches". 76 MILES on a brand NEW bike. I managed to get them to change out the clutch disks but the service department didn't clean out all of the debris from the block. after fighting with the dealer and Suzuki for 6 months, I traded the Katana in,,, **** shame I loved that bike. I do feel bad for who-ever ended up with that bike,, it was toast,,,, maybe not right away but it won't last long. I did 3 oil changes and was still getting debris in the oil.
That's odd. How many miles did you put on it after they swapped the clutch our? Was it fine after that?

the bike had just over 100 miles on it when they swapped the clutch. I was on my way to work when it went out (75 miles on it) and I babied it to work and back home after work. then I trailered the bike to the dealer. they kept for about 2 weeks or so. they changed the clutch disk,,, all of them. 6 out of the 9 or 10 disk were complete mush. they said there was about 3 disk that were ok. the material the clutch pads are made of, just dissolved,, no one can say why it happened. so they replaced them.. what they didn't do, View attachment 52896

was flush the motor out completely. after months of fighting with Suzuki and the service department. they gave me a 100% clean bill of health on the bike... so I traded it in on a 2022 GSX-S750.. talk about being pissed.. the dealer was HOT.. nothing he could do,, I had their 'clean bill of health' showing nothing wrong with the bike.
the pictures show the oil after changing it twice after the clutch replacement. those black and silver spots are clutch disk material and metal chunks.
the bike ran great,, but how long would it last? who knows? $11,000 I didn't want to chance it.
after i traded it in, the dealer had it listed for $6,000 no warranty, it had 4 or 5 months left on the factory warranty when I traded it in.
I now have the GSX-S750(2022) and a GSX-S1000 GT Plus(2023), and a 94 Ducati Monster 900(does not currently run).

I don't blame you for wanting it gone after that.
