Gave mine a 500k run on Sunday & it was 20C when I left the house. The temp gauge showed half way, & stayed there all day, even when the ambient reached 37C. On some of these sport tourer bikes the thermostat is the weather because their radiators are too small. I owned one with side mounted rads, at 36C the fan would come on at any thing above 7000 rpm, definitely a cold weather bike.

Yep, I've noticed the same. Hasn't even moved off the middle in heavy city traffic yet.
