hey all just heard from my dealer that my seat cowl has turned up and its a carbon colour :( so if you want it to match tough luck unless you spray it, so now need to find out the paint code. :crying:

So is this how they all come ? I've got one on order and was under the impression that it came standard in gloss black. I'll be righteously annoyed if i've got to go and get it colour matched................. might even cancel the order. We ordered one for the missus' Gixer 600 and that came in the right colour for the bike.

Looks like black unpainted plastic in all the pictures I've seen. I'm almost certainly going to get it painted, just hoping it's not too textured so I can get a decent finish on it.

My thoughts entirely, the colour matched cowl for the CB is £145.

£60 + a decent paint job = nice cowl at average price, although it's a shame Suzuki don't offer it that way in the first place.

Ermax are advertising various colour options on there French website but not on the UK site. Unfortunately theres only 1 picture so hopefully they will post more pics. There colour matching is usually good

The rear seat cowl is in matt black, like on the tail end, so for me it doesn't need a paintjob

heres what it looks like on my blue bike, so i will be getting mine painted otherwise whats the point, might of well left the seat on it looks about the same :(
That's disappointing, I would have thought it'd come colour matched. After looking at the photo, I'm thinking I'll just stick with the pillion seat for a while.

I like the contrast so I don't mind. A painted one would only attract my boots and get scuffed to buggery in no time. Someone here has carbon-wrapped theirs and it looks great so that might be an option.

The seatcover fits well with the matt grey, same color as the backend of the bike
