I bought one of these to replace the ugly bar mounted type. It's listed for a BMW but works fine with a 30mm thread lengh.

I've been wondering what solution to go for, on my F once it arrives. Ideally I'd just like to pop my iphone on. Will run a usb power lead from the optimate plug I think. Any chance of a photo once the ball is fitted ? Would be good to see....

Here you go.... works on Optimate 3, I think though with Optimate 4 there's a different type of fitting...
