Not really gsxs related, can anyone recommend a motorcycle satnav, has anyone tried one of the cheaper unbranded eBay ones?

I just use TomTom mobile on my phone with an Ultimate addons mounting kit, whole setup was less than £50 including the TomTom app

Get an used garmin zumo 550 , good unit low price
maps are available for free (just google it)

went a different route, bought a very cheap new phone ( like $25 at bestbuy), downloaded maps from "HERE" and use it as a GPS. Work great.

I did the same thing, when I upgraded to a new phone I mounted my old one (Moto G) on the handlebars and installed Here Maps which will work offline even without a data connection.

As an added bonus, the Moto G is water proof.

This seems like a much cheaper solution than buying a dedicated GPS. Any semi-recent (last 4 years) android phone should work fine.

I am using a very old Zumo 550 that has been refurbished by Garmin twice in the past until they quit supporting it. I'll continue to use it until it completely dies.
