Solving a Handlebar Grip Problem? Help...

Main problem I'm trying to solve is the current grips are too thin. I've tried those foam style slip on jobbies that split as soon as you try to pull them over the current grips...

Alternatives are the Oxford grips with or without the heater.

Those that have either of these what is the diameter of the throttle grip on them?

If the non heated ones come a little thicker I may go with those.... I did read somewhere that the non heated Oxfords come in a variety of thicknesses but cant find that thread/post...

Here's an odd one for you, I also wanted thicker grips years ago on my gsx1100 and the best grip I found and they were great and fitted perfect was the grip of a surf fishing rod sold at a sports store ,you can buy it then cut it to length and I thought about getting some for the GSXS but I'm not sure how my under grips heater pads would penetrate the heat through them ,probably no help to you but then you never know
