has anyone worked out how much the speedo overreads.
I compared it to another Suzuki (we both had intercom) and it was consistently reading 3km/hr less than that one. it maybe a set differential (as my kawasaki is ) rather than a %.
the bike i was comparing it too has an unknown overread so cant use that info to work it out.

I recon it's around 6%. 136 indicated = 128 actual (SatNav recorded).

It's about the same as any other bike I've had.

The Kawasaki I just sold was 5kms over at all speeds.
another Suzuki I worked out at 8% and before that a kawasaki read really high, I forget the exact %.
6% will do, cheers.

Put a 155 section tyre on the back and it will come down to around 4% error. There is a figure of about 4% over read that manufacturers are required by law to build in to vehicle speedometers..
