I was told 600 for first service and then 6000miles or yearly whichever comes first.

Like an absolute Benny I was reading km and not miles...
It's 600, 4000, 7500, 11000 and 14500 or yearly.
However on the 2nd page it says for Oceania countries it's
600, 7500, 15000, 22500 and 30000 so if you're in an Oceania country you're laughing.

Why the heck would Oceania matter? If anything I would think the salt would increase service.
Spoke to Suzuki UK customer services today and they confirmed that the service interval was indeed 7500 miles.
Discussed this with my dealer who supplied the bike and he told me more or less the same but being old school still thought that servicing should be done earlier?
Apparently owners handbooks supplied with later bikes will show the extended service intervals.
I would like a service book which reflects the true service intervals and shall attempt to get Suzuki to provide me with one.

Had it confirmed myself it is indeed 7500 then 15000 etc or yearly. did that Suzuki service payment plan and they want over £1000 for the next 3 services.
I have dealer prices of £270.36 @ 7500 miles.
and £453.32 @ 15000 miles - £295.56 without valve clearance check.
I will be doing my own servicing!
Same here! I have a friend who will stamp my book for 2 hours labour for checking bolts and stuff but I'll be doing my own
oil changes, plugs and filters. What's even more baffling is the GSXR is cheaper to service with more bodywork to take off???
Glad I got the labour for the 1st service thrown in... a few litres of oil and an oil filter can't be that much (I hope).

I only tend to put around 2k per year on the bike, so I'll just get them to do drop the oil and do an inspection service every year. Did that with the CB from new, used to cost around £150 depending on which Honda dealer I took it to. I'm sure I'll be able to find a friendly Suzuki dealer to do the same, if not, I'll take it to an independent as I don't think the full Honda service history I had on the CB made any difference to it's resale anyway.
From my own personal experience having the 2 or 3 stamps in the book is the norm then people tend to service their own bikes. I see nothing wrong with buying a +6 year old bike with 10k on the clock with only 3 stamps. You can generally tell if a bike has been looked after or not and all bikers I know put so much care and attention into looking after their bikes that it is rare to find an abused bike for sale or at least priced accordingly.
I normally buy my servicing stuff in bulk from one supplier and then keep the invoice and receipts make a note of when I did the service then put it in one of those A4 sleeves and put it with the rest of the bike paperwork. People love stacks of paperwork rather than 1 little service book with all the stamps.
I'd love to find a .pdf file of the owner's manual. I haven't had any luck finding a link.

Where are we going to get a workshop manual from?
Patience... I'm sure the workshop manual will be 'available' in time ;)

Patience? I have none.
Anyone had their first service done? How much did the dealer charge? Might be a bit more for my f
I was told it was subsidised at £99 but in actual fact it cost me £117.95 (165 euro estimate)
New header bolts and oil/filter as far as I can tell, took about an hour and half.
I will be using independents for the next 2 stamps at a massively reduced cost.
I payed for service on 1000 km 160€. And they'd put also wheel stickers on my wheels ( gsx-s orig. stickers w logo) and side tank protection.
