I specifically wanted a slider that used both motor mount bolts, and these fit definitely the bill. The backing plate is almost 1/2" thick, and comes with all of the necessary hardware. Very easy install, just pay attention to the spacers, one of them is thinner than the other 3 to account for the rear motor mount hole on the throttle side being much shallower.

The case protectors have been discussed before, so no need for me to really add anything there.. They do seem to be quite sturdy though.

Here's hoping I never test any of these new parts....

All of these can be found on eBay, Amazon (where I bought them) or on T-Rex Racing

Just got mine today! Install took a few minutes however I had to run around town to find a 8MM allen socket. Also decided to use some blue (medium) strength thread-locker (saw online many other riders recommended that with frame slider bolts). Used the torque specs of 40.5 foot-pounds/486 inch-pounds. I love the quality and the looks of the sliders!

Apparently it's from the service manual per member "Schmedlab" via this thread: http://www.gsxs1000.org/forum/suzuki-gsxs-1000-maintenance/26930-engine-mount-torque.html

"The required torque for each of these four bolts 40.5 lbs-ft. See page 1D-36 of the Service Manual. "
