Has anyone here used one?
Just got one for the Womans bike, and there is no way without removing the exhaust, that the bolts can be removed.
I only need to lower the bike an Inch, no more, and it will go back up a little once she is used to it.
T Rex's instructions, do not show you removing the exhaust, but they are not showing everything either.
Just wanted to know if any one else has tried to install this part?

You should be able to remove the bolts on the rear suspension linkage ("triangles") without removing the exhaust. When I installed 20mm lowering links I lifted the rear of the bike using an Abba Superbike stand that attaches to the swing arm bolt holes. Then removed the bolts holding the rear section of the exhaust. The exhaust can be pulled aside enough to get it done. I did not need to touch the header pipes. I used a floor jack under the swing arm as needed to align the shock and linkages to the new triangles. Use thread locker on suspension bolts when reinstalling and torque to specs.

The documentation that I received with the lowering links indicated that safe max front (fork rise in triple clamp) adjustment is 12mm. This is what I did (10,000 miles ago) and I think the bike handles fine and I am very satisfied with the results. I am not very heavy though.

The T rex link is a dog bone style. I dont see any other way,,,

You may be correct. I bought replacement steel triangles, made in Germany. I am unfamiliar with dogbone installation.

I took mine out without moving the the exhaust when if fitted my new shock. It should be doable with the correct combination of sockets, extensions and ring spanners. I didn't have a fancy jack either. Just an Abba stand and a plank of wood under the rear tyre;)

Has any one seen any 5 hole lowering links for this bike?
All i need is to lower it 1 inch, Not 1.7 like everyone sells

I’ll tell you this, I just tried removing the bolt that olds the dogbone in(the one closest to the front of the bike) and I couldn’t get it out as the silencer part of the exhaust was in the way. There isn’t enough play to pull it down and to me it looked like he entire exhaust was all one piece. If there was a way to remove that silencer piece for the rest of the pipes, I would have been able to lower my wife’s GSX-S1000f with the T-Rex Racing adjustable linkage.
