The Japanese manufacturers are getting ready for the Tokyo Motor Show by teasing their concepts due to debut at the end of October.
Once such manufacturer is Suzuki. Lucky us, it has something to do with the GSX.
Everyone and their mum knows the GSX family of bikes is in woeful need of an update and the best information pegs a new GSXR as arriving 'eventually', better then the 'sometime' we got last year.
However one rumor that has gotten more play recently is that Suzuki might show us something at the Tokyo show ready for an on sale date of 2016, and if the GSX concept is any indication (which its not) they might.
Here's what Suzuki has to say for themselves:
Suzuki’s powerful, rider-friendly inline-four engines deliver an outstanding combination of fuel economy and endurance. Their technologies are reflected in numerous GSX-series models including the GSX-R1000, the Hayabusa, and the GSX-S1000.
The concept GSX symbolizes the high-performance bikes that bear the GSX name. It gives form to Suzuki’s inline-four sportbike-making spirit and evokes a cocoon from which the company’s future sportbike models will be born.
We're not sure if this means we'll see a beautiful new GSX-R emerge from the stucco shell come October 28th, we can only hope it looks like MAverick Vinales' GSX-RR...
