After peoples thoughts on whether it would be worth fitting a slipper clutch to my GSXS?

If I start frequenting track days this summer (it's winter for us in NZ at the moment) I reckon it might be worthwhile.

Has anybody else already gone down this road?

I've done a little research and although our bikes have the K5-K8 Gixxer engine, it looks like we've got the latest generation Gixxer gearbox.

Do you reckon I could install the stock Gixxer slipper clutch if this is correct? If not, Sigma stock slipper clutches for both models, and they have been very helpful before when a friend and I were rebuilding and pimping an old XS750, so I'm sure they can supply something awesome.

That's what I'm thinking. Will give it its first track outing before I jump down the rabbit hole, I think, just to be sure.

Only you can decide if its worth it or not. What about take off units from 09-current gsxr1000? Save some money over the sigma units.
