Welcome! What did you have before? What colour did you choose? If your delivery date is June, I guess you went for the naked version?
Currently riding a Tuono V4 aprc 2013, with a 2003 600 naked bandit that is in the process of being re-built from the frame up. Have ordered the candy red & gloss black ABS naked model. Don't have any complaints about the Tuono, it's just that this bike looked so cool and after doing some research into this GSX-S it got me interested, so thought what the ****, if the test ride ticks all the boxes lets give this beast a go.
Nice choice of colour and welcome to the forum

Wow, coming from a Tuono, that's gotta be a hard act to follow?

I hear what your saying, but its nice to try these new models when they arrive, i used to ride an 08 rr fireblade before the Tuono so do have a liking for IL4's. Going on the quoted power figures, there's not alot between the Tuono and the GSX-S and its going to be interesting to see how they compare in real world everyday riding, Yes its great to have the bragging rights of all the fancy electronics on the Tuono but in my view it doesn't make the bike any better to ride, plus where in everyday riding do you use anti-wheelie control or launch control. Only time will tell and I can always go back to the Italian if things don't pan out. :):)
Welcome bud...June wil soon be here...along with the sun (I hope!!!).
Yeah the Tuono is an awesome bike but you can't really go wrong with any of the big super nakeds...I had the S1000R and you could have taken all the fancy electronics off including the DDC and I'd have enjoyed it the same and I rode it quite hard...I'm chuffed the GSX is a relatively back to basics bike but with gobs of power.
