Hello all

So i was looking through what the shop manual say is required for the first 600 mile service and it is all pretty doable at home...except Im stuck at one spot.

one of the things thats they are supposed to do is the exhaust control valve inspection...Its fairly simple. Part of the inspection to check the voltage of the control valve position sensor is within spec....thats where my question is. It doesn't elaborate how to do step 6.

Below is an excerpt from the shop manual

)Check that the EXCV pulley (1) rotates to full open/close stopper positions, when turning the ignition switch ON.
6)Check that the voltage of EXCVA position sensor is within specification.
If not, perform EXCVA adjustment. Refer to EXCVA Adjustment.

According to the workshop manual:

EXCVA position sensor output voltage
Closed [Standard]: 0.45 – 1.40 V

Hope this will help! ;)
