In case anybody is curious about how much all of the stock exhaust does weigh, mine weighed 22 pounds 12.2 ounces.

Today, I got an email back from Akrapovic USA office about my inquiry about a full exhaust for our motorcycle.

"At this time we are not planning on offering any additional exhaust options for the GSXS1000".

Yes, I was told the M4 weighs just over 12 lbs. I almost went with the M4 but changed my mind. It is a nice exhaust.

I am wanting a stepped header exhaust and I'll get one... soon. Very soon.

Don't forget about the extra 8 HP with no PCV. PCV is nice, not mandatory. Yes, we still need to do the GTG. The other local has done an extreme GSXS that I would like to see.

Full exhaust + tune you're looking at an almost flat curve and over 150 hp at the wheel.

Are you sure? They are equal? Would not it make more sense to mount the headers of a gsx r 1000 k5-k8?
