They do not show up on the Aus Suzuki site so i will see what i can do.Suzuki dealer - "genuine" Suzuki part.
The only full systems are junk and over priced. ie...M4 (junk). Yoshimura doesn't make a full system, only money-wasting slip-ons.
So, I'm having my own system fabricated and it's going to look sweet. Carbon R77 is absolutely beautiful.
I noticed this too. The 'big box' is a silencer and the CAT is the small cylinder on the header side of the big box. I'm thinking of taking the end can off and seeing how loud it is.. if it's acceptable, maybe I'll just need a slash cut tail piece >The CAT is the muffler and the muffler is just a dummy shell used to route exhaust flow. By putting a slip-on on, all you're doing is replacing the router. The muffler is underneath the bike (CAT).

Lucky, I don't think it's junk. It looks nice actually. I think it might be a bit loud though, because the muffler is too small and there's nothing to create any back pressure at all. I edited my post. For 850 bucks, it's looks pretty nice otherwise.

Please don't let this thread turn into a "your engine needs back pressure" thread... I don't think I could handle another one of those.and there's nothing to create any back pressure at all.

I'll keep this as brief as possible to avoid boring/infuriating people who've been around the "backpressure" block a million times... cars, bikes, trucks, whatever...bugger cause i was actually about to ask about it as i was looking inside the muffler today and i am considering cutting the end of it out and welding a pipe straight through so it looks original but does not baffle, this is of course after some testing this weekend removing the baffle to see what difference it would make, but should i start another thread or is there one going cause i do not want to fill this great thread with an exhaust question if it is a controversial question.
I would go so far as to say the perfect exhaust has negative pressure at all RPM for maximum scavenging. Of course, with scavenging comes a poo load of cam discussion but that is too much for a thread like this. Nice write up Rod. Impressive and concise.I'll keep this as brief as possible to avoid boring/infuriating people who've been around the "backpressure" block a million times... cars, bikes, trucks, whatever...
The whole FALLACY about an engine needing backpressure arose from people fitting larger diameter exhausts to their engines, and noticing that things actually ran WORSE. They ASSUMED that this was because that there was less backpressure. The truth is that the diameter of the exhaust affected the VELOCITY of the gases being evacuated from the combustion chamber (which is THE job of the exhaust system).
A perfect exhaust has NO BACKPRESSURE but MAXIMUM AIR VELOCITY.
