Today (out of necessity!) I joined the dark side and fitted a top box. 42 litre Givi trekker outback

yeah, the gsxs doesn't match well with bags... I have hepco's on mine. They work- pretty good bags- but the look is kinda sus.. OTOH I'd rather have the junk along with me than ride without 🤣

Given it's my primary form of transport, storage is something I need so practicality wins over ideal looks. So yeah, I needed to put the bags on. FWIW, they hit a good balance between capacity and not getting in the way

Rode her to Daytona yesterday. Spent some time riding other bikes, rode around Daytona and then back home. Was a great day. Also found what just might become her new stablemate. Really enjoyed riding this one.

Oil and filter change day, also pulled the callipers off for a scrub. Perfectly clear sump bolt magnet, happy days

Was getting a light misting of oil on the right hand side. I'd seen the thread about the start clutch cover being a possible culprit so spoke to the local Suzuki dealer when I was in there a couple of weeks ago for a new filter. They suggested replacing one of the bolt washers for the cover as an initial step.The washer has a rubber seal built into it, finger crossed it solves the issue.

Also checked the bolts were all torqued to the required 10Nm
