When buying aftermarked exhaust and doing remap it is easy to forget that most engines will respond well to remap with the stock exhaust.nicka said:The dyno results i am guessing are without any fuel/air modification in which i think would be very wise to do and then it would be interested to see the dyno results as i am guessing more like 7-8 hp with better looks and sound so it would be a good investment so long as they are not too expensive after seeing what they are charging just for an end can.
Good point.nicka said:Do we need new headers though, what difference is there and it would be nice just to cut before the cat and valve and put a link pipe on through to a nice sounding can therefore not paying for what we don not need.
When I read the info it seems that the system comes with a db-killer (green curve). The increase removing this is almost neglible (which is the case for most non restrictive exhaust for a given engine). But you can choose an *optional* db-killer that really muffles the sound, but also reduses the power output from stock exhaust (pink curve)thumper07 said:5 horsepower gain from a full system and even loses power with the supplied baffle. That's pretty sad.
must say im more tempted by this but then again im not so worried about power increase of decrease i just want it to sound sweet!
