theres the rotella oil again.10/40....diesel grade a few years ago gave it a motorcycle rating with out adding a thing...the debate goes on car oils where always as good or better then so called motorcycle oil....please dont say the clutch will slip...use the correct weight and there will be no problem...energy conservation oil slips on clutch and thats usually 5 wt oils

 

Thanks! For some reason, I was thinking that first gear was done at 72mph. I guess that I can squeeze a little bit more out of it.

 

lol..id think one would like to or know buy finding out for them self when the motor starts to fade..stop pulling..falls on its face....if your shifting by what the speedo says your going to hit a tree or get crossed eyed

Those must be actual vs indicated. I've hit 86 in first and 103 in second (indicated). For crap sake, am I the only one wringing this thing out?

 

Pretty sure it's actual. With the 6.5% error 86 becomes 80.4 and 103 becomes 96.3

So, she's got a touch more, try harder

 

I normally shift shy of 80, the limiter is such a buzz kill. I think I need to go out and do a little research this week.

Took me a sec to realize that was km/h not mph. Was trying to figure out what the **** you did to your gearing to get 120mph in 6th at 5000rpm.
