I bought and downloaded a copy- its a regular PDF, keyword searches work fine but no hyperlinks. Its still greyscale only- so things like the harness diagram remain difficult to trace.
I guess it depends how big your viewing screen is. Not that it matters but I use PDF-XChange Viewer.

Thanks for the link.
What do you mean by it not being an active file? There is an "Add to Cart" button... If I do that then purchase, will I not get a download link?
Sure no problem downloading but the links embedded in the pages do not work, as I said before you have to use bookmarks or word search.

I just changed my '22 GT's oil (finally) and the above was exactly what I experienced with the reset. Nothing happened with the top two outer pins so I tried the top left and bottom right then it worked fine.
I'm wondering if some bikes aren't pinned correctly? Anyone care to share a photo of the wire colors? I can as well when I go back out there.

Thanks for the writeup. Just FYI, my connector is under the passenger seat, not the driver seat.
Interesting. I spoke to a guy today that said he uses the top right and bottom right to reset on his 22. I'm not sure how critical any of this is and it's possible that more than one way will work but I sure don't want to risk jacking up the computer by bridging the wrong thing. I think I'll go with top left and bottom right on my 22 if it worked for you guys.

I was resetting the service reminder and made a bone head move throwing a code. Anyone happen to know how I could clear this or do I need to go to the dealer with my tail between my legs? Or buy the factory tool (not knowing how much it is either). I did end up doing the reset correctly but I’m so mad at myself. Any help is great appreciated.

If I understand the service manual properly, if this is a transient fault then it should clear the 3rd time you start up the engine and then turn off the ignition.

If the code persists, the 09930-83130 tool (switch on a wire w/ connector which mates with the diagnostic connector) can be used to indicate the code; it can be replicated with a jumper wire but I've not figured out which pins on the gsx connector to use yet.

Gpounce, that did the trick. I had disconnected the battery to see if that would help as well. I had started my bike a couple of times last night without any luck. All squared away now and learned a lesson along the way. Pay attention to wire location. Thanks for helping out. Now to get some more miles on the bike :)

Just wondering how you managed to clear the fault code. I managed to reset the light on my katana but it was the different pins. On the Kat it was top right and bottom right which need to be bridged. Also was wondering what colour your diagnostic connector is. It's white in the Kat.

I had started the bike a couple of times the night before just to see if that would work and the fault stayed on. I disconnected the battery the night before to try that as well. Next day I hooked up the battery and the fault was still on. I posted to the forum where gpounce gave me the service manual advice of 3 starts should clear It. One more start and the fault was gone. I was so happy to see it gone. The connector is red located under the passenger seat.
